Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00 - 5:30 pm

Overview:

Interns will work directly with the recreation technician to maintain and improve recreation facilities and infrastructure on the Fillmore Ranger District

9 Week position

Government housing is not available

Position Responsibilities:

Cleaning campgrounds and restrooms, fixing fences, maintaining water systems, mowing lawns, weed removal, trash removal, and other maintenance duties.

Qualifications:

  1. Good communication and interpersonal skills 2. Experience working outdoors 3. Ability to navigate across landscapes with the use of map and GPS 4. Ability to Hike and lift and carry heavy loads (up to 80 pounds)
